Our Young SVP group had a fabulous day at the Youth Day today in the Radisson Blu. They met 17 other schools in Limerick, Clare, Offaly and Tipperary who also participated in YoungSVP throughout the year.
They showcased all the fantastic work they have participated in throughout the year including volunteering in Vincent’s, organising a clothing drive and engaging in lessons on social justice, poverty and social action.
We were delighted that Dragos took to the main stage to speak about his experience volunteering. He spoke very well and paid credit to Una and the wonderful team in Vincent’s Moyross.
All students were able to view work completed in other schools, create bags and badges and play games. Leah, Grace and Keira were thrilled to win Easter Eggs for completing all the tasks set and creating the nicest bag.
We ended the day with Boogie Bingo were TCC danced the afternoon away.
A huge thank you to Clodagh, Youth Coordinator, for supporting us throughout the year and organising a brilliant end of year celebration.
