LCA 2 VPG Students Take Over SVP Charity Shop for the Day
On Friday, 2nd April, LCA 2 VPG students took part in an exciting Charity Shop Takeover at the SVP Shop at Watch House Cross. Under the guidance of the shop’s dedicated staff, the students successfully managed and ran the charity shop for the entire day.
This hands-on experience gave students a unique opportunity to step into a real-world retail environment. Throughout the day, they developed key workplace skills including customer service, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and financial awareness—all of which are essential in any retail role.
The event was a fantastic success and a memorable experience for all involved. It also served to further strengthen the school's growing relationship with SVP, whose support and mentorship were greatly appreciated.
A big thank you to Una Hall Manager and all the SVP staff for welcoming our students and supporting them in taking on this rewarding challenge!
